all the time

all the time
I wish for wings
and labour
under the weight of expectations
no one holds for me
but me

all the time
i wish for love
to carry me away
but how can it find me?
labouring under tons
suffocating

Tomorrow I will do better
I promise
I will become the man
I always wanted you to be
Tomorrow I will do better
Don't make me try today

I am drowning in tomorrows
wishing my life away
Tomorrow will be never
so long as it's never today

all the time
I wish for kisses
as the kissable me
grows smaller and smaller
till there's none left to be

all the time
I wish for wishes
and the wishable me
is all wished to nothing
nothing left of me
